The Wine Tasting Experience
Winemakers Peter & Tracie Young and staff look forward to welcoming you to our relaxing space for a unique wine tasting experience.
Including six wines, these are guided, sit-down tastings with our winemakers and staff discussing each wine with you, together with our tasting notes for extra information.
The Wine Tasting Experience goes for approx. 45 – 60 minutes with a charge of $10 per person, redeemable on a bottle of wine per person (excluding public holidays).
Away from the hustle and bustle, all views around our off-grid Cellar Door are spectacular. At times you get to watch the kangaroos jump by, or the cockatoos moving through the region. With piped music inside and outside, it is a peaceful, relaxing space to just ‘be’.
There are also other wine flight discoveries to be enjoyed or you may wish to enjoy a wine by the glass, local beer, tea, coffee or soft drink while relaxing with the beautiful views.
Note: Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, we adhere to the current government regulations with registration on arrival, with sanitising between visitors and social distancing conduct. Bookings are essential.
Our season lunch offering
To compliment our Wine Tasting Experience we now offer a seasonal lunch menu, available throughout the day. We create meals with fresh, seasonal, local produce perfect to accompany your wine choice for lunch or with a local beer, tea or coffee. We also have a selection of seasonal charcuterie and fromage grazing platters, cheese boards and delicious warm chocolate brownies served with double cream to enjoy with our fortified Shiraz or late harvest dessert wines.
We cater for gluten free and vegetarians too. We ask that you please notify us before the day to ensure we can accommodate your dietary requirements.
Special 3 course wine and food pairing luncheons will become a regular occurrence during the upcoming winter months as well as monthly evenings of music and food. Visit our events page for further information and bookings.
Sit down in our Barrel Room or ornamental wine garden with Winemakers Peter and Tracie and staff during Summer. Enjoy our complimentary wine tasting and hear about the stories behind each of our current release wines. Whilst here you may also like a grazing platter or two, a glass of wine, a local beer, or a cup of tea or coffee while enjoying our country lifestyle and views.
With a diverse selection of French and Spanish varietals grown on our Estate we have created 100% straight grape varietal wines, some red blends and a late harvest wine to sample during your visit, all with minimal chemical intervention.
Walk-in customers are most welcome, but with limited seating capacity, and following social distancing requirements for the health and safety of staff and patrons, together with our strict cleaning protocol requirements, it would be recommended to book.
Silver Spoon Estate, together with our neighbour Vinea Marson, Munari Wines and Sanguine Estate Wines have launched a HEATHCOTE WOMEN IN WINE CELLAR DOOR TRAIL. To book your visit to see us, or any neighbouring Cellar Doors (all within 10 minutes’ drive from each other), please book via the link below.
