Bendigo Creative Gastronomy Residency Program at Silver Spoon Estate

Media Release date - July 5, 2022

Silver Spoon Estate are thrilled to be selected to be one of five host workplace based creative residency businesses for the 2022 Creative Gastronomy Residency Program by the City of Greater Bendigo.

A very talented local – Natalie Ryan was successful in being selected to be part of this year’s creative residency over the next few months at our Estate.  Natalie is a textile designer and creates freelance illustration projects under the brand Meander Designs.  Her hand drawn and painted designs are inspired by botanical traditions and are digitally transferred to fabric.

This special project will enable Natalie to create pigments off our land from the Cambrian Rock and ancient native box gums to create a beautiful landscape piece to create high quality homewares for sale on her website and at Silver Spoon Estate.

We are excited to have Natalie showcasing her works and holding a Watercolour Workshop of one of her watercolour pieces on Saturday 3 September 2022 at our Estate.  More news to follow on this special Watercolour Workshop – please keep the date free.  Her work is absolutely stunning and well worth visiting us on this day to be part of her educational piece on how she has created her artwork at Silver Spoon Estate.
