Tasting Notes

The 2017 Vintage
2017 delivered excellent spring rains and occasional summer rainfall. The harvest was plentiful with delayed ripening. Despite the rain, the vines remained healthy and there was little pressure from pests and disease.

The Vineyard
The Star Seeker Shiraz grapes were sourced from a commercial vineyard in the north of the Heathcote Wine Region, which is east-facing and cropped to 3 tonne to the acre.

The Winemaking
This wine was aged in French Oak for 24 months prior to bottling.
